OFFICIAL RULES FOR
THE 95 WIIL ROCK
’95 DAYS OF SUMMER’
JUNE - AUGUST - 2009
1. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. All prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable. There are no substitutions. No cash value.
2. NextMedia (WIIL), along with contest sponsors cannot be held responsible if prizes become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control.
3. Winner must present valid identification (driver’s license, birth certificate, or valid state ID) to claim prize. NextMedia (WIIL) is not required to honor other forms of identification or any driver’s license, birth certificate, or state ID that has been altered or otherwise tampered with.
4. By claiming this prize, a winner consents to the use, without further authorization of his/her name and/or likeness and/or voice for purposes of promotion and/or advertising on WIIL. Winner may be required to furnish an affidavit of eligibility and release.
5. Employees of NextMedia, and prize sponsors and their families are not eligible to win. Ineligible family members include spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children (including step-children) and cousins of employees of NextMedia, contest sponsors, and employees of other radio/tv stations.
6. Must be 18 years of age or older to enter. Any person found to be in violation of any of the rules may be required to forfeit his/her prize.
7. The 95 WIIL ROCK ‘95 Days of Summer’ weekly prize package consists of a Giant Boulder Mountain Bike at the Bicycle Connection, a tandem skydive from Skydive Midwest, and a scuba session from Big Kahuana Scuba. A gift certificate will be provided for redemption purposes.
8. 95 WIIL ROCK listeners can qualify by registering in person at the Bicycle Connection in Schaumburg, registering at a 95 WIIL ROCK event, by being the correct caller when prompted on Tuesdays throughout August 28th, and by being a member of the Casual Text Club. A 'week' runs Friday-Thursday. Weekly winners announced on-air Friday mornings.
9. All entries taken at the Bicycle Connection will remain eligible to be chosen as a qualifier throughout the duration of the promotion.
10. Current members of the Casual Text Club are already qualified to win.
11. All decisions of NextMedia are final.
12. Weekly winners will be determined by a random drawing on Fridays during the duration of the promotion. Winners will be notified.
13. Global contesting rules apply, one winner per household every 60 days.
14. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable taxes, fees, and duties. All Federal, State and local laws apply. Value of all packages in excess of $600 is reported to the Internal Revenue Service as additional income. This prize package is valued over $599 If the winner refuses to pay tax on the prize package, another winner will be chosen through random drawing.
15. NextMedia reserves the right to amend these rules as it deems necessary.
95 WIIL ROCK’s BANDEMONIUM 2009
BANDEMONIUM Rules: June 2009 – September 2009
1. Competition is open to any local independent band between Chicago & Milwaukee.
3. Previous Bandemonium Champions cannot enter.
4. All bands will be listed on 95WIILROCK.com.
5. Listeners and fans of the band will be directed to vote for their favorite band on 95wiilrock.com. One vote per registered email address. Internet voting will begin on June 24th and be closed at 5pm on July 3rd.
5a. Votes found to be phony, or any vote fraud will not be tolerated and bands that benefit will be eliminated immediately.
5b. Votes must conform to the standard set forth on the contest web page.
6. The 6 bands receiving the most votes will move on to the performance round at The Fuel Room at Austin’s Saloon and Eatery. First performance date is 7/24/09.
6a. Representatives of the Top 6 bands must be required to attend an informational session the week of 7/6 at the 95 WIIL ROCK Studios
7. Bands will not be financially compensated for performances.
8. Performance order will be randomly selected each week once it is determined who has been eliminated.
9. Admission will be $5.00 per person at the door. Each band will receive 1 point per paid admission. One paid admission per person. No fans admitted under the age of 21.
10. Each band will be responsible for selling 25 – BANDEMONIUM T-Shirts each week they are performing in the competition for $10 each. (10 points will be awarded to each band for each t-shirt sold). Any unsold T-shirts will be given back to 95 WIIL ROCK at no charge. (The 6 bands in the performance portion will appear on the t-shirts).
11. The band with the lowest points each week will be eliminated from the contest.
12. Bonus points will be awarded to bands for Tom & Lisa Morning Show’s musical challenge each week.
13. Any band members under the age of 21 must identify themselves to 95 WIIL ROCK staff prior to performance night. Strictly no alcohol consumption if under the age of 21, or the entire band will immediately be disqualified from the competition.
14. All decisions are final. 95 WIIL ROCK reserves the right to change the rules as it deems necessary.
15. This is a popularity contest. 95 WIIL ROCK is not a judge in any way. The winning band is simply the band with the most fans. No whining by participating bands or their fans will be allowed.
95 WIIL ROCK’s ‘Two Tickets to Paradise Promotion’
Rules: June 2009-July 2009.
1. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.
2. Contest open to contestants 18 years or older, unless otherwise stated.
3. 95 WIIL ROCK will play a sounder, weekdays from June 25th-July 2nd. Caller 10 when the sounder is played is qualified to win both the grand prize and second prize.
4. Listeners may also qualify by registering in person at Naval Station Great Lakes, between Noon and 5:59pm and July 3rd.
5. A winner will be picked at 6pm on July 3rd, listeners do not need to be present to win.
6. Prizes are: Grand Prize - You and a guest win a 3 night stay at the Casa Dorada Los Cabos Resort
in downtown Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Package includes roundtrip airfare on American Airlines. Some travel dates restricted and other restrictions may apply. Second prize - VIP package to the 4th of July Celebration at the Naval Station Great Lakes, includes meet & greet with Eddie Money and VIP seating for the Fireworks.

9. Employees of participating sponsors, NextMedia Group, Inc., LLC (95 WIIL ROCK), its affiliates and subsidiaries and immediate family members residing in the same household and employees of other broadcast companies are ineligible to win.

13. If after the contest starts, changes and/or updates are deemed necessary, NextMedia Group, LLC/95 WIIL ROCK may make the required changes and announce them on air.
14. Violation of any of these rules will forfeit winner’s claims to any prize.
