Freak was born and raised in the Chicagoland area spending every summer of his childhood growing up along the Fox River just North of Rt. 176 in unincorporated McHenry County. "My first summer job as a kid was blowing up tree stumps so I was fusing dynamite by the time I was nine."
He started his career in radio a producer at WTMX - 101.9FM back in 1994 before working at The Blaze, Rock 103.5, Q-101, and the Zone before starting this project of ripping some loud music while covering the motorcycle community which is largely ignored by the media unless something bad happens. "I wanted to have a forum that focused on local events like runs and stuff while passing along major stories like racing updates and what our legislators are up to that was accessible by everyone."
Freak has been riding his 1985 Harley Davidson Softtail for several years and is an active member of the Will County Illinois A.B.A.T.E. as a Safety & Education Awarness Instructor visiting local High Schools to s kids inDrivers Ed classes.
